Okay well it was Friday night about 11:00 and the edge family was going west on I-40 when all of a sudden I see brake lights and then cars swerving to avoid something in the road…..What was it? A guy swerving on the road back and forth going about 30-35 mph! I was about to pass when Sheena and I were thinking this guy is going to get himself killed! So we followed him and try to provide protection for him.
He was just putting along swerving into half of the other lanes without using his blinker and he nearly got hit 10 times easily! So I called 911 and told them about the driver and we followed him until the OHP showed up and took over. Every time a car/semi/truck/motorcycle almost hit him sheena covered her ears to make sure everything was ok. (yeah thats what she does….crazy, but I Love her) Well, we followed him for about 20 minutes or so while I gave road by road directions of where we were at to the dispatcher. Once the 2 OHP cars showed up they turned on there lights and he still didnt pull over! About 20 seconds or so he finally pulled over and I asked the dispacher if I should stick around or go on and she said they had probable cause to pull him over so we can proceed on. Once we left the scene Sheena and I so wanted to pull a U-ey and see what happened to him. Of course we were playing out tons of scenarios of what could happened and what the “probable cause” was all about.
We’ll never know. If you see a 1994 white Ford F-150 with Arkansas tags…..Stop them and ask for me what happened, could ya. Inquiring minds want to know.
