Bailee’s sandwich pouch..

Nothing profound….just cute as a button!

Let me set the stage.  Bailee is sitting eating her sandwich with her cool bib.  IT has a little pouch on the bottom that actually catches food in case it falls out of her fork or grasp.  Now no food falls to the ground.  Very cool creation.

Bailee was eating her Sunbutter and jelly sandwich.  (Sunbutter is….Sunflower seeds made into a “peanut butter” paste. Dang peanut allergy!) Well she was just sitting there doing her thing and then she decided to stand up and eat her sandwich…see nothing profound.  As she stood up we asked if she was done.  Nope.  She replied.  As we tell her to sit back down she kept on saying “no, no, no.”

She then took her sandwich and did something funny with it.  Putting it in her pouch like a kangaroo!  Enjoy the pics!  (in the words of my pops)  “Your toooooo cute!” or “Your tooooooo sweet!” Fill in which ever you like.

Christmas came early….

I did it….I made a big purchase without Sheena’s knowledge!  This is like the only time i could have done this!  I probably got a once in every 5 year chance to do this.

What happened?  What did I do? What purchase did I make?

I got 3 things….

A New Samsung Flat Panel TV

A New Onkyo Home Theater System

and Digital HD Cable

Did she slap me? sock me? kiss me? jump in my arms? leave me?

She stood there in shock and said “Oh my!”  I think was in shock because I made the purchase without telling her more than anything.  She was pretty cool about it overall.  She will fall in love with it tomorrow probably.  Why tomorrow?  She is off tomorrow and she will have time to enjoy/play/pause/record with it all tomorrow.  We actually got to pause a show last night!  What a huge deal for us!  With 2 girls, distractions are just as common as Oklahoma Weather changing (fyi it was 70 yesterday, today 20 with windchill and possible snow).

I was tired of having the digital converter box….everytime someone walked by the tv it cut out, scattered, and went black.  Frustrating to say the least.  So now that we have cable i think I will love it more than ever!  I am tired of scheduling around certain tv shows.  There are times when a select few of the shows come on right when the girls go to bed, or when someone calls that i need and want to talk to.  Now we can pause/record and not miss a thing!  Fun stuff!

As a side note to the bonus to Cox cable….When the guy was out he activated and boosted all of our cable outlets to where we can have our Internet hooked up in any room!  In the past our signal was weak and could only put the modem in our bedroom.  So that was a big blessing to do that for us for free!

Another bonus….On the Onkyo receiver there is an output to where you can set up a second set of speakers somewhere in the house and use the reciever to play tv/dvd/TUNER to where ever….. the point?  We can now run speakers outside in the backyard and have music while we garden/grill/socialize/swim/play/mow whatever we want!  Sweet beans!

Good stuff….As you can see Christmas came early this year!

I cried…

Well as I just recently this past year aquired the family muscle car, I have had alot of focus on working on it with my girls, may they only may be wiping off the tires or cleaning the interior it doesn’t matter…..what matters is they are spending time with there daddy and feel like they are contributing!  Which they are!  But just recently all my ladies, my parents and I were all outside playing around and I saw Brooklyn trying to get under her cozy crusier.  She said, “My head won’t fit!”  I looked down and saw that she was trying to put her head under her car to do something.  After some adjustment and helping her out….We jacked up her own muscle car and let her change the oil and work on her engine……….After seeing these pictures you can maybe see why I cried.
